Summer, early sunrise and long evenings, magic at the beginning and end of each day. Sometimes you can feel guilty about missing that spectacular sunrise or not staying up to be mesmerised by the colours of the sunset. The night skies are magical, but so too are the blades of grass, the glossy green leaves, the spiders web. It doesn’t always have to be the big event that take our breath away. February
As February reaches the mid point it is so lovely to see the flowers beginning to pop up everywhere and to hear the birdsong as the birds return from their winter travels. The grey skies of the last few weeks provide a beautiful canvas for the fresh green of the new leaves, making the colours so vivid as they are glossed by the raindrops. There is beauty and wonder everywhere. We all need to take time to stop, observe, take a breath and cherish the moment. Treasure the wonder
Autumn
As we embrace the change in the temperatures, the darker mornings and evenings, take a few moments every day to inhale the crisper, fresher air; wonder at the changing colours of the leaves; notice the change in the birdsong, as some have departed for sunnier climes. On those evenings of cloudless skies, look up, stand in stillness and watch the stars sparkle in the sky, find 'the plough', the North Star and other constellations that are ever present.
